Bonita Ballet’s mission is to provide high quality education in Classical Ballet while inspiring a love for art in the dance field.   This artistic, healthy, and fun program is tailored for children between ages 8 and 12 years old and is offered in both English and Spanish.

The Bonita Ballet program uses a specialized method created in conjunction with psychologists, doctors, and ballet teachers that is specifically designed to maximize the positive impact on the young dancers’ development.  The age of these students is critical for their physical and mental development.  Classical ballet provides a framework that instills life long skills, including discipline, creativity, self-esteem, strength, and sociability.

Above all, Bonita Ballet strives to ensure each child thoroughly enjoys each lesson and ensures they are eager to return for the next one.

The number of dancers is limited to ten in each class in order to provide personal attentiveness and ensure the highest quality lesson.

Classes meet twice each week.  The lessons last one hour.  The program is structured into four seasons; spring, summer, fall, and winter.  Each season will culminate with a choreographic performance for friends and family members to see the children’s progress.

The Bonita Ballet program continues to build the skill level each successive year.  Dancers returning for additional years will continue to grow and be challenged.

When students graduate from Bonita Ballet, they will be prepared to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities such as sports, performing arts, and cheerleading.  They will learn to appreciate the art of dance and carry with them technical knowledge and skills of classical ballet.  The life skills and tools they will have developed will give them the self-confidence necessary to succeed in all areas of their lives – from personal to professional.
